As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting breastfeeding in our community, we are excited to share that with the collaboration of our local Health Department, our breastfeeding support visits local pregnancy resource centers once a month. These visits are a key component of our outreach efforts, providing mothers with the information, support, and resources they need to make informed decisions about breastfeeding.
During these visits, Brittany Frishman and/or Khloe Utley are available to speak directly with expectant mothers, answering their questions and addressing common concerns about breastfeeding. They play a crucial role in empowering mothers by informing them of their legal rights, such as the right to pump at work, and guiding them on when to seek additional support. One of the primary goals of this outreach is to connect mothers with the resources available through community partners.
We understand that breastfeeding can be a challenging journey, especially for new mothers who may feel overwhelmed or unsure where to turn for help. By making ourselves available at these pregnancy resource centers, we aim to bridge the gap between expectant mothers and the resources that can make a world of difference in their breastfeeding experience. This outreach initiative is not just about providing information—it’s about creating a supportive environment where mothers feel empowered and confident in their ability to breastfeed. It’s about building connections within our community and ensuring that every mother knows she is not alone on this journey.
We are proud to be part of a community that values the health and well-being of mothers and their babies. Through these monthly visits, we hope to continue fostering a culture of support and encouragement for breastfeeding, helping mothers to feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.
