"Hi! I'm Brittany, and I’m a mother of three beautiful children. Each of my breastfeeding journeys has been completely unique, giving me firsthand experience with the challenges many mothers face, from worrying about low milk supply to struggling with latching, and even navigating breastfeeding after experiencing sexual assault. These experiences have fueled my passion for women’s health, breastfeeding, and supporting my community.
I am deeply committed to helping create safer, more supportive spaces for mothers in our community. I believe every mother deserves the resources and encouragement needed to thrive.
In my free time, you’ll often find me behind a camera, lost in a good book, sketching, or listening to Taylor Swift.
I look forward to getting to know you and working together to make a positive impact!"

“As a young mom, it was very stressful for me at first to worry about what people would think if they knew I was breastfeeding. I grew to realize that it did not matter what others thought because I was nourishing my baby in the best way possible. My breastfeeding journey has had it's ups and downs. There have been times when I was worried if I was producing enough, people would discourage me with their lack of support, and it was difficult to get my baby to take a bottle, but breastfeeding is one of my favorite parts of the infant stage. The bond you create with your baby is Incredible and I can feel proud of myself knowing that I have sustained the life of my baby and have helped her grow. Joining the Breastfeeding Coalition has been exciting for me as I love everything about the pregnancy, postpartum, and infant stages. I'm excited to share my knowledge and personal experiences with breastfeeding, as well as, support new moms.

"Hello! My name is Brooklynn, I have a beautiful daughter named Nevaeh who is currently 9 months old! I have exclusively breastfed her since the day she was born! When I went into breastfeeding I had so many questions and was very nervous. I had trouble getting a good latch in the beginning so I used a temporary nipple shield for the first 4 months. I worked with Nevaeh to get a good latch aside from the nipple shield, and she eventually stopped using it on her own! I also had an over supply from day 1, so I would use a boon trove to collect the letdown milk on the side baby wasn’t nursing from. I was blessed to create a major freezer stash to help moms who needed extra breastmilk! Breastfeeding has so many benefits for baby and mom! It is the best thing I have ever done, and the best bond that is unexplainable!"

"I knew from the start of my pregnancy that I wanted to breastfeed my daughter, if I were able. It has been one of the most beautiful experiences for me, and I feel blessed that it came to me so naturally. As a childcare provider, I’ve worked with parents on how to feed their babies in a way that works for them, and I enjoy helping them tackle any difficulties.
I’ve always had a passion for young children, and I will happily continue that passion through my work as a childcare provider."

"Hello, my name is Samantha, and my passion lies in advocating for mental health. I firmly believe that mental health plays a crucial role in the early postpartum period, deeply impacting a mother’s ability to feed her baby and embrace those precious first moments. I am incredibly grateful for the experience of breastfeeding my child, and through this journey, I’ve come to deeply understand the need for stronger support systems for women in our communities. Every mother deserves to feel empowered and supported, and I am committed to helping create that environment for all."
